Resident Salary
Resident salaries are reviewed annually to remain competitive and reflect cost-of-living adjustments.

Holiday Schedule
Holiday coverage is based on the resident's assigned rotation schedule.
Medical, Parental & Caregiver Leave
Paid Leave
In accordance with ACGME requirements, residents are eligible for:

Six (6) weeks of paid medical, parental, or caregiver leave for qualifying reasons beginning on the first day of residency training

Vacation and sick leave exceeding one (1) week must be used first as part of the leave period
-
One (1) week of paid sick or vacation leave shall be reserved for use outside the six (6) weeks of paid leave during the academic/appointment year that a resident takes a paid medical, parental, or caregiver leave.
Unpaid Leave
Additional unpaid medical, parental, or caregiver leave may be available under the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) for eligible residents who have exhausted their 6 weeks of paid parental, medical or caregiver leave or for whom paid parental, medical or caregiver leave is not otherwise available.
Continuing Medical Education (CME)
We are committed to supporting lifelong learning and professional development. Residents receive:

Annual CME/Educational Stipend: $1,500 per resident

Funds may be used for approved educational activities, conferences, board preparation materials, and professional development expenses
